1987 - The company started operations as a housekeeping & catering services company in Chennai.
1990 - Added new Facility Management services to Portfolio by strengthening technology platforms and increasing our footprint
1996 - Became a comprehensive Integrated Facilities Management and Business Support Services Company with a state-wide presence
2000 - Pioneered Integrated Facility Management by servicing India’s first technology park in Chennai
2003 - 1st Facility Management company to be awarded ISO 9001 in India and because a Private Limited company
2004 - Awarded the contract for Data Centres of the world’s largest bank
2006 - New Vernon Capital make a PE investment in our company
Began to expand services by acquiring a majority stake in Avon Solutions and Logistics Pvt Ltd (Mailroom Management and Logistics Services)
2008 - ICICI Ventures replaced New Vernon Capital
2010 - We increase our geographical footprint by winning contracts for terminal operations and airport services building (ASB) in key airports
2012 - We expand our portfolio to Equipment and material supplies by establishing Tangy Supplies and Solutions Pvt Ltd
2015 - UDS buy back shares from ICICI Ventures
2016 - UDS is awarded the first-ever contract for servicing large government hospitals
